A hint of spring?
Now that all the snow has melted a few treasures have been revealed!
There are daffodil leaves poking through (I'd inadvertently trodden on a few in the grass) and snowdrops almost in flower.
The best though are the Hellebore Orientalis. The snowy white petals on this one stand out best in photographs but I have deep red/purple ones that flower a little later. I expect a few cross-pollinated ones with speckles though - you never quite know what's going to pop up!
The rabbits don't eat them so I allow them to self-seed everywhere!!
Even though it's howling a gale outside, these glimpses of spring are very heart-warming! :-)
