My first attempt at baking sourdough bread.

After nearly 4 weeks of carefully establishing and feeding a starter, and a couple of days of mixing dough, proving, knocking back, retarding, proving and baking - let's just say there's room for improvement!

My father and grandfather were both bakers by trade, but it's probably a good thing that I took up engineering and patent law instead.
