Invader
Spent quite a long time trying to identify this little critter. He was obviously searching for something... After wondering if it was a ladybird larvae (yay!) I've come the conclusion that it's probably a rosemary leaf beetle (oh dear). If it is, they're invasive Southern European beetles that like to feast on rosemary, and also related plants such as lavender, thyme and sage. Not great news for my South-facing herb garden... but maybe we can live with a few.
