Old newspaper.

While having a good rummage in the garage, I came across this copy of the Daily Express from 1900. I can only imagine that this is a much later reprint but have no idea where we got it. While the Boer War was in full flight, there were other interesting bits, especially the adverts. How these squaddies could shoot straight with all that cigarette smoke in their eyes, I don’t know. The little verse about Mr de Bergerac also made me smile.
After all that black & white, I thought a wee splash of colour was in order. So please see today’s extra of some of our tulips gracing our little back garden.
