Beech Woods

Out for a run this morning. This wood forms part of my run and has a carpet of Ransoms, Bluebells and the odd Spotted Orchid. The best shot of the day was.......another Thrush but couldn’t have two in a row!

Some repotting of plants and some seed sewing. Baked a carrot cake this afternoon. It was a version which used Rapeseed oil and whipped egg whites to give a lighter texture. Happy with the way it turned out but not the washing up!

After that the day seems to have slipped away.
