Fly safely home Winkie

I thought that this would be a bluebell blip today as we deliberately went for a walk in the nearby bluebell wood.  They were out in force and looked amazing, but then near to home there were some wood pigeons in the trees with the male *chasing* the female and I thought she deserved the blip in magnificent take off mode.  

Title is a reference to one of my favourite songs, written about Winkie the war hero pigeon whose story you should check out if you don't know it.  One pigeon (plus lots of clever people who could figure out how fast she was flying and how being covered in oil would have altered her speed) saved the lives of a bomber crew after the radio failed .  In our house all pigeons of all kinds are referred to as 'Winkies' in her honour.
