We are starting our 8th week of isolation/distancing/ seclusion or whatever the buzz word for the situation today. (We started a week ahead of the govt)

The weather has been changeable from rain to sun and back again. We didn’t do a walk as I can’t go far when the ground is wet - boots and walking shoes hurt too much and trainers let in the wet.

Luckily Ailie WhatsApped from New Zealand and we chatted for 2 hours. It was lovely to see her though she told me someone we both knew slightly in the village died yesterday - she only discovered she had cancer a few weeks ago. What a shock.

Mr C had a day of sorting out slides. Many got the bin. I’ve got up to our life in Cyprus 1971-74 in the memoirs.

I hope you are all well and bearing up.
