May the swarm be with you

Dog walking delegated.

WFH early.

Worked too long.

Dinner and off to plant on tomatoes at allotment.

Had a nagging thought in my mind that a hive was not behaving as it should so headed over to apiary to see as thought first swarm of the year for me. It was late so set into gear.

Some gardening and then sheet under and shook into a cardboard box. Must gave got the queen as bees settled in box.

Poured in front of hive and they marched into hive. Don't think they have settled so down tomorrow first light to try and prevent them absconding.

Home and bed.
