Betty the chook went to the vets this arvo. She has sour crop and the prognosis doesn't look good. He cleared her crop and said we need to do this X2 a day. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed into the consultation room so the vet wasn't able to demo for me so I'm really nervous about having to do this as there is a chance they can aspirate fluid back into their lungs. But if we don't do it she'll suffer and die. We have to go back tomorrow to pick up some medicine to deal with the yeast infection as well as it wasn't in stock. Eva is devastated. Really hope she pulls through. She's a lovely chicken.
