Red haired ducklings

Very pleased to have diverted, via Morrisons for the paper, to Maxwell Park where i blipped this coot and her ducklings. I love their red heads and the yellow standup hairs on their necks and lower head. Returned via Pollok Park where I saw the heron again, at the weir near Pollok House and managed to blip him trough a gap in the beech trees. One exiting kingfisher at the usual spot and although I stayed around for about ten minutes it did not return, presumably on an extended fishing expedition up river somewhere.
Outdoor slippers arrived, they seem to fit well enough and should be good for outdoor living whenever that comes to pass. Either way they will be handy for stepping out onto the balcony of an evening.
Subsequently the slippers proved effective when sipping San Miguel on the balcony in the afternoon sun. News very depressing today, obfuscated by contradictory messaging and communications, compounded by the resignation of Prof Neil Ferguson, his Catherine Calderwood moment. So two significant losses to the scientific solution, although CC comments on testing early in March were very unhelpful and just goes to show that no one really knows wtf to do.
