Unexpected gifts
An uplifting start to the day with the book that I have blipped arriving after my run. Penny sent it along with a nostalgic postcard featuring Scottish heather and possibly the queen either picking it or sniffing it. I saw the kingfishers too, this time one of them fishing and presumably going back to their with the catch. Looking forward to a poor weather morning when I can take as long as want to watch, wait and with enormous luck, blip. I fear that is somewhat elusive but who knows.
And a post lockdown dinner invite from P.
The initial start to the morning around 6.45 was a promotional e-mail from Netflix advising that Modern Family is now available. I am delighted, I love this show and have seen a few episdoed mainly when I have been on a long distance flight. I believe there are 8 seasons so plenty to keep me going which I think I can probably combine with cross stitching without too much difficulty.
Another useful combination of two very different activities (there must be a noun for that) is kingfisher watching while doing yoga stretches on the railings – I saw someone do this, minus the kingfisher watching, this morning.
