Sending out an S O S

Well the cake making was a big success yesterday.

Then disaster struck. Not to the cake but to my camera. I managed to drop it onto a hard floor from at least 60cm. It looks as if the telephoto lens hit first and is not feeling well.

I have been able to find a company in South London that can do repairs and the sick lens will be picked up tomorrow morning. Hopefully the camera is still ok. I was able to take this shot with it today using a different lens.

So the theme for today is message in a bottle - sending out an SOS.

No moon or Starlink shots for a few weeks whilst the lens is saved.
