In need of a little attention

Or rather, well beyond repair.
I passed this rather dilapidated vehicle this afternoon on my bike ride. I don't know what make it is, but it is certainly looks well past being restorable and is definitely in a state of vehicular dereliction. 
It does have UK style plates on which date it to pre-1962, with the Durham area code ('PT') but who knows where it started its life?
