While the cat's away ...

My husband, Cormac68, is away with work for a week and so as I'm alone in the house apart from the kids, the cats, the gerbils and the bruminating lizard, I thought I'd try my hand at some DIY.

This afternoon consisted of a quick trip to the local DIY store for some supplies and a bit of drilling - once I'd finally worked out how to put a drill bit in Cormac's new drill! It did seem to work quite well and I'm pleased to say the house is still standing and structurally safe :)
