The Agony and the Ecstasy

I caught her on the way back from her bike ride. It was still early and she was suffering from freezing toes. She hadn't realised how cold it was going to be when she went out and was now grimacing as the feet thawed out. 

I know the feeling. Fortunately her friend appeared and saved her with a hot coffee.
