A rarity nowadays

Very young people may have no idea what this is. It is the open back of a Nikon F601 film camera. Today children are coaxed to smile by showing them their image on the LCD screen of a digital camera.

Not so very long ago the idea of owning a digital camera was just a very distant dream. My film camera was a good camera but now that I have achieved the dream of going digital I am so grateful to enjoy all the things the digital world has done to enhance my photography hobby.
