2020 Tuesday— Cinco de Mayo

This photo was captured very early this morning as I sat in bed with our 2 pups who were snuggled into and asleep on top of the bed, while I was drinking coffee and reading the Bible.

Since the summer of 1982, Mr. Fun & I have read thru the Bible together every year. We use a simple little reading calendar and we read both the Old and the New Testaments in the morning, rather than doing one in the morning and one in the evening.

Reading together and praying together has been a key ingredient in our marriage. Yes, we do sometimes get behind a few days worth, but we catch-up a day or two at a time when our schedules allow. From January 1 to December 31 we read the entire book. Currently we listen as a Bible app on Mr.Fun’s phone reads the passage to us
