Thriving Gerbera

I gather the Celts cultivated these daisy plants because they lessened the 'sorrows of the day'. They are not one of my top favourites, I bought this one for a pound or something, in Morrisons over a year ago. It has continued to flowers throughout the year with very little attention or encouragement. The colours this spring I'm sure are lighter than last spring; its resilience is striking. I have also planted some geraniums (the begonia corms failed to sprout) and I am experimenting with more dried flowers, this time the tulips.
