Bar tailed godwit

Very windy, so hard to get any sort of sharpness. I've been loaned a monopod with a tilt head, and am going to try that with birds - never could manage a tripod, just not quick enough, so we'll see.

Bar tailed godwits are scattered round the estuary, this one feeding in the evening light. another couple of months and they'll be off to Siberia to breed.
