Old house, golden evening light

Late afternoon on the way back from Culverden came across this old house. Took lots of shots, but liked this one the best.

Always wonder what the story is - why was the house built there, who moved in when it was new, who lived in it and grew up in it, and what happened to them and why has the house been abandoned.
