Let the Sunshine In

It's been a lovely day weather-wise, warm and sunny.  Lunch and sit on the swing type of day. We Ann decided to paint the fence panel today.  It's a little while since it's been done and needed a bit of a freshen up.  It's also the fence panel we look out onto when we're sitting on the sofa, a favourite perch for the sparrows flitting from garden to garden.  Luckily we had some of the original paint left so having took her photo I left Ann to it!

I had a long text from the powers that be this morning.  The same people who were responsible for sending me a letting of internment (did I mention I am allowed to open the window!).  Anyway besides for reinforcing what they've already said I (presumably along with everybody else who received the letter) have now had an end date - 30th June 2020.  Now I'm not sure if that's the day the world ends or whether the Government are confident all will be well by then (my money's on the former).

I went for my normal walk this afternoon, I find the biggest issues with social distancing are the runners coming straight for you and the cyclists tearing up behind you!
