Boats in the bay

Lockdown restrictions have eased a little more, we now have four hours of outside time. It means that boat owners can use their boats, it was quite a nice surprise to see so many boats in Petit Port this afternoon.
We spent the day gardening and painting the Summer house. Tomorrow is the Liberation Day bank holiday and there are plenty of virtual things to attend instead of the planned cavalcade celebrations. The island is decorated with flags bringing the Guernsey community together.
Clearly I don’t know what day it is any more, someone has just reminded me it’s actually Liberation day on Saturday. Tomorrow is VE Day!
