VE day at the beach

VE day has been glorious and we have all enjoyed the day. It was far too hot to paint and so we have left that for another day. 
The walk along the cliff top is again featured in todays blip, this is the left of the bay below our house and in the extra is the right of the bay. The sun was dazzling and made the sea look very inviting. The beach seemed more busy than usual with several families enjoying the warm day. Today there was even a yacht anchored. We used to anchor our yacht here when our children were small. It is a nice anchorage at low tide but from half tide up  becomes very rolly and unpleasant.
Tonight we will have a barbecue for supper and Miss T has already started making a yummy marinade for the chicken. 
When we came back from our walk Alfie pup decided that fishing in the pond would be a good idea (unfortunately) another extra.
