THORNY WEATHER

These are the last roses on our rose trees.  They seemed to love the cool, wet April & bloomed with abandon; but as soon as the heat arrived, they have faded.  (SEE  EXTRA)

I am not a big fan of roses, but these rose trees came with the house when we bought it, so I have tried to tend & enjoy them.  My friend adores roses, & her enthusiasm has perked my interest.  I have noticed these roses 
are lovelier as they start to fade.

Next week we should get a few cool days, so maybe they will begin 
blooming later.  In the meantime, I have these photos to remind me;
maybe I will dig around & find its name.
