Where journeys begin and end.

Our local railway station used to be manned many years ago, but it does not have a ticket office now. We have the raised beds in that area of the station now.
The trains are one an hour each way, Colne to Blackpool line, and they are nearly always on time.
It is neat and well maintained by SSI and Propects, who have adopted the station.There is something to blip there in all seasons and it looked peaceful with the lovely blue sky this morning.
The cold wind here today has given me ear ache, so I am wearing purple ear warmers to keep out the cold and they work really well.
Arthur was such a star yesterday and thanks so much for all your lovely comments for his picture.
I had to give him a flea control treatment in the back of his neck this morning and he was not too pleased, running as fast as he could out of his cat flap, to show his disapproval.
It needs doing every 4 weeks, even in the Winter.
He is in better spirit now and sitting sphinx- like on the front room window sill.
