What is up with these insanely long entries.

Last night (Friday), I went to go to Norm MacDonald at Zanie's in St. Charles, and I thought I got a picture of him on my cell phone real quick when he walked by me, but my stupid phone didn't take the picture. So not only did I not get a blip for yesterday, no pic of Norm MacDonald. I could have stood in a line to get his picture, but I figure that's the worst part of his job and I don't care that much.

Norm was exactly what I expected. His stand-up is just so great, so good that I couldn't believe he was playing this fairly small club. Out of the all the comedians I've ever seen, I have never seen so many people leave during a show as I did this one. I would say at least 30 people.

At first I thought they were going to the bathroom, but then I noticed they weren't coming back. He wasn't that dirty, I mean yeah R rated, but wasn't anything gross or anything. I love Norm, if you haven't seen much of him check him out on You tube, his appearance on Conan is really good (Conan loses it laughing). So although no picture, I finally got to see a comedian who I have wanted to see for a LONG LONG time. I also got tickets to see Todd Barry, which I'm excited about, but that's not until May.

My blip is from today Saturday, where I came home from my parents (where I stayed last night). I finally got some time to unpack everything from Vegas and came across this receipt and had to laugh. $90 just to get in the club, it's like in Vegas money isn't real, so weird how much you spend in such a short amount of time. I got a haircut there, after tip it was more to get that than to get in XS. Anyways, back to today...

Oh so at the train station this girl comes up to me and says hey are you Nate? I was like uhhh yeah, she's like it's me Jenny. It took me a minute (she had sunglasses on so it wasn't helping), but it was a girl I went to middle and high school with. I haven't seen her since Junior year (I didn't go my senior year) so it's been literally 9 years, wow. It was great to catch up with her and she's on facebook so she knew more about people and how people were doing and what not. It was great that she was going to the city so we had the whole hour to catch up which of course flew by. She kept telling me about all these people, and I knew the names, but couldn't put a face to it. She even showed me a picture of this girl who I should have known since her last name is right next to mine (so we probably had lockers that were close), but I had no idea. Anyways, was great to see her and hopefully we'll get to hang out again sometime. I think I'm going to join this facebook thing since there are lots of people like her I'm sure who I always liked, but just lost touch w/after I left school.

So finished unpacking, did laundry and dishes, oh and I had a battle w/some ants that thought they were going to make my home their new home (anytime I see ants I always think of the game SimAnt I played as a kid - you're the ants, and I won...). Ran 5 miles, did some geeky computer stuff, dishes, lets see what else, oh when I was running I watched another part of game 4 of the 93 finals, wow is this series good! Basketball bores me now, but I can watch old bulls games until the end of time. The first half of the 92 finals game 1 I have probably seen 15 or 20 times, but it never gets old. Every time you see a game you see more things - all right I'm rambling, no one is reading this and would be disappointed right now if they did - plus my cat is dying for some attention. I love when they just climb up on the chair and then in your lap like oh don't mind me.
