MGMT - Time To Pretend
Hmm, I felt bored today, which I haven't felt in awhile! Well I had plenty of stuff to do, I just didn't want to do anything inside and wanted to get out. Unfortunately that idea failed... whatever. I need to find more friends in the city since everyone I texted was busy or working.
Blip is of my dinner (well the cookie sheet it was cooked on). I ordered some Kobe Beef patties from Fossil Farms, the same place I got my alligator from.
Anyways, I cooked them on the oven in a skillet, then broiled them (I love that char taste). All was going well, until the 3rd patty. The burned stuff in the picture started to smoke really bad, I unplugged the fire alarm (it didn't like my cooking), but then another alarm was going off somewhere - I was in a panic since I didn't want my neighbors knocking on my door thinking I was burning down the place (when really I just don't know how to cook).
Anyways, these Kobe beef burgers are AMAZING! The first time I had Kobe beef was about a year ago at Nobu, it came on some hot rocks and was the most expensive entree I have ever seen at a table ($189 for 3 pieces of kobe beef!!) - it was good there, but not for that money. So when I saw this steal on fossil farms I decided to get it. Money well spent.
Other than that I did something from p90x and ran 2 miles - finally finished game 4 of the 93 finals. I forgot that Barkley had some controversy w/that game since he should have fouled Jordan hard at the end so he couldn't get up a shot, but some people thought he didn't want to give him a hard foul since they're friends.
More laundry, trying to get cat hair off of everything & let's see what else, hmm it's only 9pm and feels like it should be later. Oh updated my site some and watched a few episodes of House - Season 1, which I borrowed from my parents. Has the same type of setup as Six Feet Under, where you see the clip of the story in the first minute or two and then the episode starts.
Oh and I actually found a job I wanted to apply for, but it's for that facebook company and in order to apply you have to have a facebook account (and an avid facebook user - obviously I'm not that). I never want to apply for jobs, in fact, most sound like hell, but for some reason this one interested me. It was for a fraud analyst, which was the only part of first real full time job (internal auditor aka cruel & unusual punishment) that I liked. I'd have to move, and am not really into that, but for whatever reason I want to apply - so I think I might.
