A very happy boy!

VE day - 75 years on from the end of the war.

After pe with Joe, we coloured in some flags and put them in the windows. Talked to Thomas about VE day and the war, but didn't go into too much detail as he takes everything in and there's already so much going on at the moment. Kept it brief and said that we've got a lot to be grateful for, and we celebrate the end of war and beginning of peacetime, he was happy with that.
This afternoon we played in the garden and then me and Thomas spent some time upstairs building a lego house.
Thomas was a very happy boy to find that he is on the Manchester United website for his colouring of Anthony Martial!! In afew weeks they're going to vote for the best and the top 3 win some prizes, he's got his fingers crossed!
This evening I'm watching the VE day celebration on BBC, and a video made by some of our older church members of their memories of VE day.
