Gull

We did get a touch of blue sky today between the showers. I was pleased with this Black headed gull that was circling above even although the wing edge was missing, I hope it did not detract from the photo too much.

I lightened it slightly which made the gull stand out a little more and I am surprised the difference a few minor changes on the computer can make to the photo. Is this cheating?
