Flags are out

It's been very hot today.  F and I went for a walk but cut it shorter than usual as the heat sapped our energy (I'm hopeless when it's hot).

We went from F's house and saw some lovely flowers and attractive skies along the lanes but I liked this photo taken in Oswestry on our way out of the town.  There were lots of flags out after yesterday, this one is on St. Oswald's Church.

When I got home I sat in the shade in the garden with my book and a cup of tea to cool down.  It will be different tomorrow and back to winter temperatures if the forecast is right so I made the most of sitting outside.
