Day 47 – Virgin of Alsace

We spent today mostly in the front of the house; S gardening whilst I started some painting on the windows, a task I’ve ignored for years. It was very warm so the undercoat soon dried even though the sun wasn’t out all the time. I guess the overcoat will be done next week when it is cooler. I did have time to go out for a wee wander around the grounds of the Gallery of Modern Art Two, where Emile-Antoine Bourdelle’s bronze statue of the Virgin of Alsace stands in the grounds.
