Day 48 – Fern

After yesterday’s heat it was decidedly Baltic although still quite sunny. We went for a walk to Ravelston Woods in the afternoon in the hope of a decent Bluebell blip. However, although they are very nice there is such a lot of extraneous undergrowth that I was unable to get a good shot. Luckily this fern was backlit and there were some Bluebells so it makes an ok blip. In other news the buffoon that ‘runs’ the country made a speech that confused the issues. He suggested going to work on Monday without giving employers any notice. The guidelines come out tomorrow in a 50 page document; shouldn’t that have been released at the same time? Stay alert !! Drive to exercise; lucky Lake District.
