Who's fingers are these?

I discovered, today, after seeing them for manymany decades; they are, apparently, called "The fingers of God", at least when they're up and pointing "downbank" as we say hereabouts.

"The Man" and I both saw them this a.m. Apparently he thought ...
"That would make a good shot for somebody",
miles away I thought "Can I reach my camera and get back in time?"
Seems we were both right.
We, also, wondered if they were still God's if they started down and pointed "upbank".
Took a load of assorted Odznsods from the midst of a bigger pile at Chez Clicky, they seemto be winning the empty out race.
