Morning Run

SATURDAY

I ventured outside and up to the moor on my 6 km run this morning. I had left it a bit late - the sun was beating down and the dog walkers were out on the normally deserted lanes. To social distance I took to the footpaths across the fields which involved running a narrow line between wire fences and negotiating several stiles.

In the afternoon I dismantled Harriet’s Playmobil Fairytale Castle which has sat in the play shed for years. It took me just short of three hours to hand wash over 250 individual components which were then dried in the hot sun and carefully packed away.

Delicious sardines on toast for lunch. Vegetarian sausage cassoulet for dinner.
