Fallen flowers

After the morning service and zoom coffee time I spent a couple of hours pruning the jasmine, double flowered and a gift from a friend who had taken a cutting from a plant in a Greek historic site! It is sad to prune when you can see buds undeveloped and these two flowers fell into the water bowl I put out for birds! The water had gone into my shoe when I accidentally trod on it! The flowers are very bright and cheerful in the early part of the year and very vigorous, at least so far! Extra is the denuded plant! I chopped back the fuchsia in the winter and it is now rewarding me with beautiful large blossoms.
