Wall memorial

Visited the preserved wall at Norbahnhof this morning. What an amazing bleak place. Its a memorial to the people who died trying to get from the East to the West. Took loads of photos here_ I was captivated in a rather grim way.

We walked down to the Maur Park flea market (very bizarre) and then onto TV tower and Alexanderplatz and the DDR museum (all a bit tacky).

So lovely being with the kids -time with them is precious these days!
