Squeeze!

It's a tight squeeze down our street.  It's a B road with narrow pavements yet it has full-size artics using it.  This huge track-laying tractor with a massive harrow on the back is having to use the pavement, but at least that will have caused less wear on the pavement than the 44-tonners which sometimes meet and have to make space for each other.

I'd not complain about large vehicles which are part of the local economy like this beast but some of these houses have no foundations and must be vulnerable to the wear and vibration.  I'm not sure about our house; it has a cellar so there must be something underneath it, and it has lasted since the 1750s . . .
