A bit of a trial

But it was a partial failure.  The gov.uk website had instructions for making a cloth face mask which my newly appointed mask-maker used for her first go.  And it didn't really work.  The mask is a bit wide (not a major problem) much too deep (high) but the elastic bands are way too short at 20cm – for either of us.

So we had a few more goes and decided that 25cm wide by 20cm deep with 30cm elastic straps on either side, sewn not tied, and it was about right.
