Ruperra Castle

Groundhog Day 49 of COVID-19 UK lockdown.

A good nine mile walk from home to Ruperra Castle, near Michaelston Y Fedw, on the outskirts of Newport, South Wales. (It dates from 1626 and the photo' and history in the official link are by a former work colleague and friend). It's a crumbling ruin in private grounds that was in use up until the middle of the last century!  Stunning views over The Bristol Channel.
