Nest Eggs

Groundhog Day 50 of COVID-19 UK lockdown.

I went downstairs about 7am to make a cuppa and saw our resident Blue Tit helping young exit from the eggs by eating the shells. Three were hatched. By the afternoon we had four chicks and four eggs still unhatched. The blipfoto shows mum/dad feeding  the chicks a caterpillar.

This afternoon we did some shopping for my dad who's coping well and was pleased to see us. Great to see him. We're missing the rest of the family.
