Coming out to play?

Crashed out last night......slept 8 hours :-)

Washed my tatty mop this morning, its getting so long, just like the root growth :-0

Had breakfast in the summerhouse, too chilly and windy outside......caught up with friends and family on social media.

We had a coffee as usual, pretty boring daily routine really :-/ We had a heavy shower just before lunchtime.....the starlings are after hubs reseeded patch of the lawn, we keep having to shoo them away!

Lunch was an egg & bacon sandwich for hub, I had similar but on a thin wholemeal pocket, with some tomato soup.

After lunch we popped to one of the local farms for some fruit & veg a d was pleased to see they had lots of bedding plants in their very large poly tunnel....so we bought just a few to make up a couple of baskets and planters, to,add a bit of colour by the front door. So that's a job for later in the week,when its warmed up a bit more! Todays blip is the deserted play area at the farm........going to be a while before its used again! The skies have been like that most of today :-/

We stopped off at daughters on our way back to collect a couple of things she had got on her click n collect from Asda for us. Emily had been baking with her Dad and gave us two chocolate fairy cakes, one large for hub and one small for the slimmer :-) Very nice they were too.

We watched todays update before going,for our evening walk.......usual route, also getting a bit boring now, but we are planning on going somewhere different later in the week.

Back home, dinner tonight was gammon, cauliflower cheese, grilled tomato & jacket potato, hub had fries ;-)

Watched two fascinating and informative programmes on tv tonight, Hospital, all about Barnet and how its coping during COVID19, and earlier Life & Birth, much happier viewing!
