My favourite audio device

Mrs M came across this old photo whilst doing sorting.  My Akai reel to reel tape deck.  That was state of the art in the early 70s.  

You might also spot Knorr Minestrone Soup, Slater's Bridge, a scanning electronmicrograph of stomata, some fountain pen ink, a stack of punch cards, nixie tubes of a digital clock, a way of making the transistor radio battery last longer and, possibly, a Monty Python book.
