Lagunas Llanganuco Huaraz, Peru, 1987

The colour had not really come out right here, it should be more greeny blue. I blame my little Nikon which seems to like blue. This is a view through the trees of one of the two glacial lakes, famed for their colour. The extras are of Inca ruins on the Inca Trail and views of Machu Picchu from the trail. We did the 5 day hike to get there and beat the bus parties to the site. (Which is why there is no-one there.)
