A surreptitious one!
What a strange start to the day! I was minding my own business tweeting and catching up with blips while drinking my tea in McDonalds when I became aware that someone was sat nearby grinning at me. I looked up to see a woman I didn't know sat opposite. I looked enquiringly at her and that was all the invitation she needed. She told me all about her job and how she'd told her boss to stick his job up his arse last week when she was late for work after taking her friend to hospital. Seriously! That's how it was! After about ten minutes of listening to her ranting on, I threw back the rest of my tea and stood up to leave. Imagine my horror when she stood up and left with me! Fortunately, she turned to the left on Station Road and I turned right and went up to the council house.
The morning passed without any drama and I went out at lunchtime with the intention of taking a secret street picture. No chance! Every time I tried, someone would spot me and glare at me. I think I'll leave the tripod in the office next time... I'm joking...
So much for that. Next stop was Marks and Spencers for a sandwich and I quite liked this man's hat behind the till. Don't you think it would look good on Bony? Anyway, I got my phone out, turned the flash and sound off and then seized my opportunity! Then I seized it again when he wasn't on the floor retrieving carrier bags and then I seized it again when I could see more than the back of his head!
By the way, the bread belonged to the lady in front. The man was very grumpy when it was my turn!
Either a) he knew I'd been taking his picture, b) he'd been working there for 115 years as the sign in the background suggests or c) he was, like the title of today's fabulous Deep Purple track - Mistreated
How's that for a great lead up? No? Oh please yourself!
