Today's the day ………………………. to eat salad

It's all coming on well in the kitchen garden - although quite a lot of watering has been necessary in recent weeks.

This is the mizuna and rocket that we've already been eating in salads.  And in the extra there's chives, fennel and globe artichokes also growing beautifully. 

There's really nothing like the taste of home-grown herbs that you have freshly picked from the garden ………………….
