One of the things that has cheered up our lives greatly over the past year - especially during Lockdowns - has been the discovery of AcousticnightsONLINE.

It is the wonderful idea of Louise and Alan Mairs to showcase a whole series of singers and musicians, both professional and amateur, in a live performance from wherever they live.  This performance is put out on youtube at 8.00pm on a Friday night - and it has become a regular date for us over the months to listen in.  We've had the pleasure of getting to hear a wide range of performers, making music of all different genres.  And it's almost as if they are performing just for you - because it's all happening in your own home.
