My 9yr old neighbour has undertaken a charity bike ride as a lockdown challenge. She decided to ride 52 miles (two marathons) in one week. Today was her last day and I discovered she was setting off at the same time as we have our virtual coffee and chat. I liaised with her parents and we organised a send off for her. I had 16 members of our congregation (inc Mum in Leeds and a friend in Leicestershire) on our video conference and I took the computer outside so they could all wave her off. It was good fun and the family appreciated it.
