Rich runs a yurt making business, this is the roof of the yurt we'll be staying in. It took about 30 minutes to build. It's beautiful and we over look Takaka valley from the mountain side. We love it and moved into it straight away. Mike and I have a double bed, a lamp, a table, 2 chairs, rugs and a bean bag. In this environment that's all we need. The house is a 2 minute walk away for everything else. We are also on the edge of their orchard with juicy apples, pears and plums just ripe for noshing. The sun keeps shining and in the evening we head off to the river for a swim and freshen up. Still coughing, still jet lagged, still happy!
