Into the Sun

It's been quite a while since we could venture down, away from the Blue Mountains for a bit and so it has been quite a while since I have been able to sit in the passenger seat to capture some of my "upsun epics" as we climbed back homeward in the afternoon. I quite liked these two, lending themselves, as they do, to "moody mono" rendering. I especially like a bit of unruly flare. Don't you?

I was surprised to see how many people were out there spending money today. Everyone seemed happy to line up so that there were never too many customers "inside". There'll be a lot of pent up business for a great many retail outlets in the weeks to come. Let's all just hope for the best.
