Legless

Not me, him!  Though my neighbour has just given me a small half bottle of wine which she didn't like but didn't want to waste.  So I'll be doing my best later!

I met this little chap on my walk to Kings Worthy today.  Only a baby, he was busy sunbathing in the middle of the path and kindly agreed to remain there long enough to be blipped.

Slowworms are not snakes (or worms) but legless lizards.  I had a feeling that's how they're classified but have just googled to check..  I also read that one of the indicators is that they can blink their eyes.  Well how cute.  We do see them in the garden from time to time but this is a first for a walk.
